The Veo camera 2 introduced the USB-C port for charging and also uploading video. There are two Veo camera accessories on sale as part of the Prime day deal that you should check out if your team has a Veo 2 camera. The best deal so far is this portable battery charger for Veo camera 2. When I recorded US Club soccer nationals, this is what the Veo crew there recommended so I bought one right away. It's nice because you can charge two cameras at [...]
Used Veo cameras are usually for sale for one of two reasons: Cameras are no longer needed because the club/team got a camera, the coach is no longer coaching, or someone's kid finished playing sports. Teams upgrade to a newer Veo camera version or switch to a different camera system. The reason we started this camera listing site is that we talk to lots of teams every week who are considering whether an automated camera recording system is right for their team, club, or school. It's [...]
Recording your high school soccer games or basketball tournament with Veo is a great way to give the coaches footage to review with the team and also give the players highlight clips of the game. As a coach or athletic director you probably want to know how to get a Veo camera discount so you can record your athletes at the lowest cost to the school. We hear from lots of high school coaches asking about the best soccer cameras and how to save money on [...]
If you have a Veo camera for sale this will walk you through the steps we’ve used to help a used Veo camera find a good home! For a while buying a used Veo camera was hard because teams and clubs were still using their Veo Camera 1 and it was tough to get your hands on a new one. Now that Veo is starting to roll out newer versions of the soccer camera there’s more interest in parents or teams wanting to sell their camera [...]
Recording soccer highlights with our Veo cameras at State Cup taught us a few lessons about recording tournaments with the soccer cameras. Our son's team was playing in the tournament and had their own Veo camera so we brought along 3 of ours that weren't being used that weekend and recorded games. There's quite a difference between recording a game or two a day for your kids versus recording games all day for a showcase or tournament. Here are a few things we learned about managing several [...]
The best video camera for soccer might be one that records soccer games for you, letting you watch the match rather than spending your time filming it. The Veo camera is a soccer tracking camera that uses artificial intelligence to pan and zoom smoothly to follow the ball around the field for you. It's been a great soccer camera system for us because it's fast and easy to setup and use - not just for filming soccer games but also practices as well. Veo Camera Review [...]
The Veo camera is really easy to use but finding a way to pay for the soccer video camera isn't always easy. Why pay the Veo camera price when you can buy a video camera and tripod for less? In our experience the ease of use for recording and sharing game videos plus the ability to use the footage for individual player feedback and highlights makes the Veo camera cost worth the money. If you research the camera and decide the same you still have to [...]
In our initial Veo camera review we shared what we'd learned after about 50 outdoor games & practices recorded using the soccer camera. Now two months later and into the winter season we've used the soccer video camera for futsal training, futsal games, indoor soccer games, and even to record basketball games (tested it on a whim & the ai camera worked for basketball as well). Here are a few lessons learned that we picked up last weekend that had nothing to do with the camera [...]
The Veo camera can be used to record soccer games of various formats. Below are examples of soccer game film for 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 matches all recorded with the veo video camera. Some of these are soccer video highlights and some are the full game footage. We've added an opening screen to most of them that shows the names of the teams playing and the league or tournament game that they're competing in. The footage that you see in the Veo app after recording [...]
When we saw the Veo camera at the United Soccer Coaches convention I knew that it would be great for our team and our club. The question I needed to answer at that point, was it worth the money? Veo Camera Cost There are 3 costs involved in using the Veo camera: Camera Cost Tripod Annual Subscription Fee The price varies depending on which tripod you choose and which subscription plan you pick. The cost of the camera is the same for everyone unless you apply [...]
