About Us
Soccer Stripes is based in Kansas City, the self-proclaimed “Soccer Capital of the United States”. We feel lucky to be surrounded by a great soccer community here and started this site and online soccer store to help grow the beautiful game in the Midwest and all over the country.
The game has changed a lot in the U.S. since I grew up playing at the YMCA in the 80’s. Soccer kids these days have so much more opportunity than in decades past, it’s an exciting time to be in the game! We’re fans of the Swope Park Rangers and Sporting KC and have three kids that we coach who play in the Heartland Soccer Association.
We’re also fans of the English Premier League and the Bundesliga and will catch a La Liga game when we can – we love watching soccer!
